You may have seen or even experienced approaches where the therapist sits back with a notebook, not fully engaging, but I don't believe that's truly helpful. That's why sessions with me involve much more of a connected, customized approach.
In line with somatic principles, it's almost as if I'm having a conversation with both your body and your mind - noticing where certain patterns pop up, encouraging you to notice and explore how something feels in your own body, and guiding you back to your intuition.
Sessions can include everything from discussing past experiences to articulating various aspects of your fears to exploring how your thoughts can manifest in physical ways - and vice versa. We'll use a unique blend of techniques, including coming back to the body to see how something feels, working through real-time communication scenarios, exploring your story through narrative approaches and even trying mindfulness tactics that speak to your nervous system.
Although those I work with usually see and feel a difference after one session, committing to at least three sessions allows us to adopt a pace where we can better explore the root issues, establish foundational connections with your self and your body, and then focus on blooming out our efforts to build deeper and stronger connections with others.
* Sessions start at €150 per 60-minute session, although I do offer package deals and can potentially offer sessions on a sliding scale. For example, booking 6 sessions at once reduces the per-session cost to €120 per session. Please message me to discuss.
